Son: I am proud of my culture because we have fun celebrations, and the history of the culture is interesting. Also, the people are really friendly. These are the reason why I am proud of my culture Mark: Are there ant worst parts of your culture? Son: Yes, the traffic is terrible, there are too many motorbike and too many dangerous wires in the road. Mark:What are some famous foods in your culture? Son: They are Pho, Bun cha, Bun. Pho is a noodle soup with beef or chicken. Bun cha consists grilled beef or pork with noodles, vegetables and Nước chấm, which is a soup where you put the noodles in. Mark: Are there any special days the Vietnamese people celebrate? Son: There is a Mid Autumn festival, Tet holiday, and there is a Huge celebration for winning a war against America. Also there is a Memorial of a king. There are still more celebrations for kids. Mark: Are there any specific religion your culture believes in? Son: I would say Buddhism is the most known religion and the majority of Vietnamese people believes in it. Mark: Are there any tribes? If there are many, can you tell me the most famous one? Son: Specific tribe? In Vietnam, there are 59 different types of different people(tribe). For example, the most known tribe are the white thai people and they speak different languages. Mark: What language does your culture's tribe speaks? Son: The white Thai people speaks Thai. Mark: What kind of economic system do they have? Son: The economy of Vietnam is a developing planned economy and market economy. Mark: What kind of myths, legends do you have? Son: Legends of bravery and heroes, princesses, kings and empires. Mark: Do you have a representative symbol for your religion/country? Son: The representitive symbol is the flag. Mark: Are there anythings you have to do or make in the celebrations and the events in your culture? Son: For Tet, make Banh Chung and for other occasions, you have to make food and cakes.
